“This exhibition examines how media designs the perception of reality based on illusion and deception today. There are alternative and sustainable media players on display, focusing on the consumed visions and the traumatized forms of seeing, which are generated by visual perception manipulations. The artists who reproduce the techniques used in early- stage cinema devices in an up-to-date fashion adopt a speculative design approach that intersects with “do it yourself” and “maker” cultures.”
