The artists describes the figure which is not viewed from one definite perspective, partially there is the absence of perspective.  In two dimensional surface the figure is viewed from many different plans(perspectives).  Thus there needs to watch the figure horizontally and vertically, in a manner questioning it’s existence while documenting that moment in time.   Photography or one photograph cannot capture this moment since then one would need many squares at horizontal and vertical levels.  However the painting documents the situation and the existence of the figure in it’s details.  The canvas shows us the borders.  The body leans against the border(the outer area), lies on it, stands against it thus stays in contact with it.  There is the struggle to defeat an existence in misconception, materializing the canvass and getting in, becoming reality.
